Set about 6 km from Jajpur, this viewpoint looks out over the Vaitarani river corridor and its wide floodplain — worth the moderate drive for both sunrise and sunset, not just dawn. The hike up is easy enough for most of the family, and the panoramic view at the top does the talking. There was no entry fee at last update, and parking is available at the site. October to March gives you the clearest skies.
