Pitamahal Sunset Point
Perched about 19 km from Rajgangpur in Sundargarh district, this viewpoint overlooks the Pitamahal reservoir waters and is especially popular for evening visits from October through March. The hike up is easy enough for most visitors, and the panoramic views at sunrise or sunset make the effort worthwhile. There was no entry fee at last update, though the road is moderate so a reasonably sturdy vehicle helps. Parking is available at the base.
